Leaders invest a lot in the people around them. They are dedicated human beings and wish to find people who have similar nature. Super stars, CEOs and managers believe in the credentials of their team. All leaders know that they can’t dedicatedly work on every aspect of the business, hence, they are motivated to find people who will stay and work with them. Such team mates are acknowledged by good leaders and appreciated once the company hits numbers.

A leader always reaches a position of standing after passing through vigorous obstacles. He knows everything isn’t achievable at a single moment and he must make choices almost every living minute. So a competent leader today doesn’t leap to everything he is offered, he rationalizes all decisions and in doing so he make his most important decisions.

Contemporary leaders are visionary and forgo an authoritative figure. In this era of specializations they don’t hope to become jack of all trades, rather they listen to multiple opinions from resourceful people before taking any step.

Such leaders don’t feel it to be an ego issue if they are proven wrong, thus, they encourage discourse and exchange of ideas. They also know when to stop and drop an idea if it unsuccessful in the long term. They aren’t blind to their flaws, rather appreciate being corrected.

A research by Google shows that the most amazing leaders around the world aren’t really super innovative or extreme geniuses. The quality that all of them have is that they are very predictable.
